In Heaven with Jesus

Andrew's struggles on earth are over. He went to be with Jesus at 9:45 pm. As difficult as this is, it is an answer to prayer. Earlier tonight, we met with the neurologist and learned that about 3/4 of his brain was gone. The doctor told us that he would be be confined to bed, dependant on a feeding tube and totally unaware of anyone's presence. We prayed that the Lord would sustain his life as long as he willed. We were able to hold him and love him for the last three and a half hours of his life. God is a God of mercy and we thank him that he was merciful to Andrew.

I will post the information once arrangements have been made.

Dear Wendy,

We are so saddened at the news of Andrew...bless your (broken)hearts..."yet we sorrow not; even as others which have no hope..." We are praying for continued grace and strength for you-you will have what you need--God promises that (Heb. 4:16). Thank you for your faithful testimony and realization of God's sovereignty throughout Andrew's struggles here on this earth. He is more alive than any of us now...You WILL see him again. Praise the Lord.

Lots of hugs, love and prayers,
Lydia (Daulton) Jorgensen

Wendy,
Yesterday at grade level Lynn prayed for Andrew and all your family. As she was praying I was reminded of a song from years ago--"Masterpiece" by Sandi Patti. Andrew is a masterpiece created by our Father. He brought much glory to God in his short time on Earth. We are praying for continue strength and peace for you and for all who loved Andrew during these tough days.

We Love You,
Susan and the First Grade Teachers at Buena Vista

Wendy,
You don't know me, but Susan Elwart directed to your blog as I am a fellow mom of triplets. And I just wanted to tell you what a testimony you have been to me.

We rejoice with you in that this little one's struggles on this earth have ended and we grieve with you at this loss. You come to mind often and as you do, I will pray for the grace of God to sustain you both in your grief and in the energy to care for your babies.

Sincerely,
Adrianna (and family)

Sent here by Victoria Caldwell-Crain. Words cannot express how moved I am by your story, your life, your children's lives. Know this, people who don't even know you, care for you and are praying for you. Prayer moves mountains, although, I have a feeling you already know that. Your spirit is bright. Thank you for sharing.

Brent and Wendy,

We’re so saddened and sorry to read the news of Andrew. May your hearts find comfort in the knowledge that you are never alone. We pray God's presence in your lives ease your spirit and give you peace.

What a magnificent testimony! Throughout your pregnancy and especially since the babies’ birth, your circumstances have touched many lives and planted seeds of faith and hope. Andrew's short life was very significant. We will continue to pray for you and your children. God bless you all!

Brent and Wendy,

What a little fighter Andrew is, and what a gift for him that his little body no longer has to fight and struggle. All 3 of your children are beautiful.

May God give you grace and peace as you grieve the earthly loss of Andrew. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You don't know me, but I have read your story here from your friend Susan Elwart's blog. As a NICU nurse, I have seen these struggles first hand and want you to know that my prayers are with you...both in grieving the loss of this little one and with giving you strength for each new day with the other 2 little ones at home. May the grace of God be your comfort in this time of grief. Cynetta

We know that children are a gift from God given only to us for a season - they really belong only to the Lord we’re just given the sacred job of raising them for Him. We are sick for you and Brent to have to go through this time or sorrow. When I read your blog, I got up and went and found my two precious boys and hugged them both. Andrew will never be forgotten in your lives; but remember that two other precious joys are relying on you two entirely – for everything. Let this be a time of growing stronger in the Lord and growing stronger with AK and M knowing that they will continue to need a strong Mom and Dad. We are praying for you as the Lord’s gives you peace and comfort in the days ahead. The Guthries (Camille, Robby, Daniel & Samuel)
